Pars Today – Independent U.S. Senator from Vermont Bernie Sanders said that Donald Trump is corrupt and has dragged the country into a catastrophic war.
According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Sanders, a senior U.S. senator from Vermont, said in an interview with the U.S. network MS NOW that Donald Trump is “the most dangerous president in American history” and an authoritarian.
He continued: “Trump is someone who has turned power into a tool for plunder and personal enrichment. He is corrupt and has dragged America into a catastrophic war. My responsibility as a senator is to stand up with all my strength against and fight these destructive policies.”
Sanders is one of the most prominent and influential critics of Trump’s policies in the United States and has repeatedly criticized the president’s policies on various issues.
The Democratic senator had previously condemned the resumption of U.S. aggression against Iran and addressed Trump, saying: “End the war against Iran.”
He added: “This war will take more lives and waste more taxpayer money.”
