‘They are a big, full diaper’
—
Former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino made a scatological reference to two corporate media outlets Thursday evening over their coverage of the Trump administration’s track record fighting violent crime.
The average homicide rate dropped by 21% in nearly three dozen major U.S. cities in 2025, the largest one-year drop of all time, according to statistics compiled by the Council on Criminal Justice (CCJ). Bongino gave Hannity a preview of his podcast, which is slated to return Feb. 2. “These media people, they’re like a full diaper all the time. My daughter just turned 14, so it’s been about 13 years since I changed any diapers, but that’s the media,” Bongino said. “Some of the stories, here, let me give you a perfect example. If this doesn’t make you laugh, this was just today, perfect timing. I didn’t even intend to talk about this.”
